Johnny Vines
Johnny Vines was born & raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northwest Georgia. His family was of meager means when compared to many, but his father instilled in him honest wisdom. A man’s word is his bond and a man that can keep his word, even at the cost of some benefit to himself, is a person to be called a true friend.
Since military service was a calling to his family, Johnny joined the US Marines. Johnny served in the U.S.M.C. during the troubling days of 9/11 and its aftermath. After receiving an honorable discharge with the rank of sergeant, Johnny became the first person in his family to go to college and was accepted into the University of Georgia. Upon obtaining his bachelor’s, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
After graduating Johnny returned to Georgia and was sworn into the Georgia State Bar in 2009. Johnny has been married for over 20 years and has one child.
Johnny is active in his local community having just completed two terms on the local board of education. He is an entrepreneur and small business owner, with a thriving private legal practice and other businesses. The simple country wisdom taught to him by his father has guided his entire worldview.
