Roger Lane
Roger grew up in Jesup, where he was educated in the public school system and later attended the University of Georgia. Roger began his adult career as Field Auditor for the State Department of Public Health and later served as President of the Georgia Pharmaceutical Association for eight years. He served twelve years on the State Board of Pharmacy and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy.
Roger has served as President of the Georgia Oilmen’s Association for the past forty-one years and has grown GOA from from two employees to more than one hundred.
He has served as Chairman of the Energy Marketers of America Southeastern Region Executives as well as serving on the E.M.A. Motor Fuel and Executive Committees.
Roger resides with his wife Carolyn in Gainesville, Ga. where he is a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. He has two daughters, Dana and Dea, five grandchildren and one great grandson.
